Wireless RF Radio Remote Control Kit Manual |

The RCKIT is a RF remote control switch and transmitters suitable for adding a remote control facility to automatic gates, barriers and garage door controllers. It requires a 12 or 24 volt dc power supply and the outputs are volt free normally open relay contacts
- The receiver is designed for use indoors, if used outdoors it should be housed in a suitable weatherproof enclosure
- Before making any connections ensure that power to the equipment you are connecting to is switched off
- Remove the screw securing the receiver cover and remove the cover
- Connect the a 12 or 24 volt dc supply, ensure positive is connected to the 12/24V terminal, If unsure use a voltmeter to locate the supply and determine the polarity, set jumper J1 to match the supply voltage
- The 2 transmitters supplied have been programmed if you do not have additional transmitters go to step 10,
if you have additional transmitters program them as follows
- Press and release the LEARN button. The red LED on the receiver will light, and within 3 seconds
- Press the transmitter button A, the red LED on the receiver will flash and then turn off. The transmitter is now programmed (the transmitter button must be pressed within 3 seconds of pressing the LEARN button). Repeat the above and press button B
- Repeat the above for additional transmitters.
- Switch off power supply to the receiver
- Connect the output to the equipment to be controlled. Two normally open volt free relay contacts are available CH1 and CH2, each channel can be set to operate as either momentary or bi-stable, see DIP switch settings
- Switch on power to the receiver and test operation
- Replace the receiver cover
- Note: The single white wire is the antenna, do not cut this and for maximum range keep away from mains wiring and metallic object
Deleting learnt transmitter codes - Clearing the receiver memory
Press and keep pressed the learn button for approximately 5 seconds until the red LED on the receiver flashes and then switches off, all the transmitter codes in the memory have now been erased from the remote controls receiver. |
